project with the title of flat words no depth represents ignorance from the population or different sources of power towards environmental problems. to be exact, fires spreading more and more each year.

after visiting portugal during the summer months I have been struck by the actual happening of forests burning down in front of my eyes.

the final art piece consists of photos covered in red tones printed on square pieces of paper and glued to the surface.

concrete parts stay the same, in contrast with the shadows of trees and people being covered in fire. it all merges into a giant fragile mosaic and forms an abstract ecosystem.

next to it, there is the second mosaic of the same size edited in a graphic program representing the illusion of a movement in changing our habits and saving planet by governments/organizations while the fire is spreading even more.
